Here's a little picture I did to mark the occasion.
You will have to suggest your own stories for this one. If I like any of the suggestions then there may be a prize for the winner.
The pose is by me, and will be available in Pose Pack 2. I hope to do some more involving furniture. Thanks to Bowski-Productions for his help with the background to this pic.
Challenge: if this picture gets 300 favourites by March 31st, I will do 1-2 alternative versions with Amanda wearing her other outfits.
This is a wonderful interpretation of how all of us feel after Christmas. It made me laugh because it brought back memories of that last dinner, that last present the last moments where you want to drift off and sleep near a crackling fire. This woman just went with it and went right into that peaceful bliss of Christmas time.. family may have just left, or perhaps they are tiptoeing around trying not to wake her lol. Its wonderful. This could get viral on facebook haha. This is very honest and the art.. my.. its SO REAL and so warm you just want to sit near that fire and enjoy the moment with her.
The quaint, archaic feel of the room is made even more pleasant by the warm fire and the Christmas decor. That Amanda is not wearing shoes would imply that she was rather comfortable and at ease when evidently drugged. Clearly, she trusted her assailant. Amanda's pose is realistically awkward. Her face has the hint of a wince, implying that the drug was rather fast acting. The gleans of her hose and sweater are different, because they are of different fabric. BEAUTIFUL! If Amanda were awake sipping her tea, this would look like an image for a fancy Christmas card. Her peril looks "out of place" in this setting, which does much to heighten tension and raise questions.
While watching your artwork, I couldn't help but think at some paintings Balthus made, like this one : [link] I'm talking about something similar regarding the "feel" that emanates from the picture, but also to the way the scene has been built. (This is only an opinion).
