Around the next corner, the tunnel came to an abrupt end at a stone slab. It was carved with an ornate picture of a pharoah and his queen, and surrounded at the edges by an extravagant ornate series of symbols. Immediately Ciara knew that it must be a door, maybe to the crypt itself. Putting her lantern down, she studied the carved grooves and symbols with the combined effort of her hands and her eyes. And it was in the eye socket of one of the figures that she found a finger-length hole. Pushing inside, she felt something give, resulting in a muffled click.
