Ciara's Egyptian Nightmare (Continued)

Ciara stopped rubbing the layer of dust between her thumb and forefinger for a moment, and listened to the silence. She heard the awful sound dragging and scraping across the fine grains of sand, grinding them into the stone tiles of the floor.
The sudden realization of not being alone washed Ciara in a cold fear. The imagination of what that stale smell of decay belonged to, and that unnatural shambling gait… shriveled her stomach into a raisin. Every muscle in her body clenched as she turned around with the greatest of terrified hesitation.

I think if I was her, I'd pass out pretty much instantly.... mummies are absolutely terrifying, even when I saw them in the museum I was scared!
