Ciara's Styles - Old Meets New

Outfit Number 1 - Turtleneck, Pigtails and Thigh Boots

Before I had DAZ Studio, I had The Sims 3. This was where I made my girls, and Ciara was my main character.

I used to change her hairstyle and outfits a lot. I had about 4-6 main ones. Ciara used to dress in outrageously impractical outfits and then head off to explore tombs in The Sims 3 - World Adventures. There she used to encounter all kind of hazards including traps (fire, steam, electricity and darts - my favorite) and worst of all, mummies!

That's right - Ciara's Egyptian Nightmare was inspired by the many times I took my glamorous and impractically dressed girl on a Egyptian adventure and got her roughed up by a mummy. Of course the mummies don't kill you but they can devour your soul and curse you (which turns you into a mummy later). Normally though they just knocked Ciara out. There is a lovely animation that I watched many times where she staggers off and faints dramatically while the mummy shambles away.

This outfit is one of my favourites and features a pigtails haircut as well as a lovely figure-hugging turtleneck sweater. The shorts are the ones that she wears in Egyptian Nightmare. The snake skin thigh length boots were rather cool, and it's a good job she never met a snake as it might have recognized its uncle.

Ciara's outfit in Egyptian Nightmare is an amalgam of all the different ones I used in that game, and I hope to convert/recreate some more more of the crazy outfit and hairstyle combinations in DAZ that I made for my lovely character two years ago in The Sims 3.

Any time is a good time for pursuing Torqual3D archival pleasures. The romantic in me isn't altogether comfortable with Amanda's shift in tense, although she certainly is up to snuff and no doubt equipped for less innocent adventures. :) (Smile)
