The Girl in the Garden by Torqual3D The Girl in the Garden by Torqual3D
Who is the girl in the garden? What is her name and where is she leading us?

If you would like to suggest a name for the girl in the garden, please do, and I will take the suggestions and maybe put it to a vote.

Maybe I was a little inspired by Chonastock and their leafy adventure in the Botanical Gardens. I spent the afternoon designing and creating this girl. Not sure whether we'll see her again... depends on the level of interest.

Sorry I haven't been uploading much 3D art recently. I have actually been quite busy with Daz Studio, but most of what I have been doing is of the experimental variety... creating new characters and outfits. Unfortunately I am now setting myself much higher standards than earlier this year where I used to post almost everything I did. I am harder to please now. I have been working hard on high quality lighting, and trying to get closer to photorealistic quality. The issue, as I have said before, is the almost glacial pace of rendering. We're talking 20 times as long for something that looks 20% better. But the 20% is rather addictive.

Chonastock's story will resume this week.

Ah, you're a bit late there.  Both good names, but Nicole was chosen in a vote!

I know I am late to the naming, but Rhea is the name that comes to mind when I see her.

That would also have been a good choice. But she is firmly Nicole now.

cute

according to me, the title is too 'weak', simple (I dunno the word)
for example, 'the Beauty of the nature' is better. just my thought

Wow hmmm names are always a trial for me.. for some reason.. I see Jaxon, when I see her. Perhaps even shorted to Jax. As to the character herself.. I think she's stunning and unique. The lighting... well it's ideal. :)

Thanks indeed. I spent a couple of hours working on the morphs for this lady, mainly accentuating her cheekbones and getting her mouth right. She's very pretty now. My main concern is to make each of my girls look distinctive. The problem with one person designing all these characters is that they could end up looking the same.

That's Sarah her name means princess and a woman that remains extremely beautiful even in older years and she is taking us into the garden to show us her prize winning roses that she has been growing.

Demeter Greene maybe? On account of the prevalent nature theme, and connecting to the fact that nature grows at a glacial rate, just like rendering...

I just voted on your poll... Lorelei fits the mysterious and stately grace of the character, but I gotta say, Nicole adheres to the soft and subtle beauty of the girl...

Huh, I was a bit partial to Lorelei, but Nicole is seems more fitting... Will we be seeing her in certain, chemical induced 'circumstances' soon?

The best part of this is the way you stuck to the color theme, with her hair, eyeshadow, and clothing perfectly balanced with her lush surroundings.

She needs a name based around her green theme. You could go with something cheesy like "Jade" or "Emerald," but I think I prefer something subtler, like "Veronique," with the variant of verdant and the preceding latin root. Veronique.

hah, when I saw this pic, I instantly thought of the places where you used to jog a couple of years ago. Perhaps she could be named Ricky. Ricky Womansworth. And she's a doctor.

She is absolutely, stunningly, gorgeous. God, I hope nothing bad happens to her.( ;)) As far as a name goes I think Bob's on the right track here. Anna's good. I was thinking about something like Rebecca or maybe Sara. Okay my vote's Rebecca. But something with an "A" on the end, cause you shouldn't be able to talk about her without going "Ah!"

Not sure that anything bad is going to happen to her. She's not so much a character as just a model right now. Sticky fates are generally reserved for my well-developed characters. Glad you like her. ;-)

I do. It's silly but she has a look of intelligence about her. One last name suggestion and I'm done. Stumbled upon it in a book I was flipping through: Lorelei?

It's not silly to say that she has a look of intelligence about her. I find intelligence attractive so that's what I aim for. At the end of today when she is 24 hours 'old' I will pick four or five of the names suggested and open a poll.

Wonderful Pic.

Reminds me of the leading female from the Broken Sword video game series for some reason.

So I'll propose the name Nicole or Nico for short.

That's a good resemblance. I think it comes from the defined cheek and jaw bones plus her strong bottom lip. I was aiming for more of a model-type look with this girl. If this pic hits 30 or more favorites, I may do some pinup-type work with her.

Hmmm, a Greek goddess in a modern setting...how about something like Serendipity. A bit artsy but good enough for Salma Hayek (and her unforgettable candy girl dance) in Dogma.
