It's been over a year coming, but I finally got round to finishing it. Victoria 4 is about to take a nap!
Thanks to those of you that purchased the first two V4 Unconscious Pose Packs, which I launched as a DeviantART pre-release. These packs are still not available on any other site and I have no immediate plans to release them anywhere else. Thanks once again to those who used the packs for deviations and linked me back to the great results. I collected them here
I am now making available 15 more poses, including those used in four of my top ten pictures (by number of favorites) as well as a whole bunch of new ones never seen before: YOU can be the first to use those! All poses are provided with mirror versions for a total of 30 poses; they will work in Poser or Daz Studio and allow you to create your own stunning and lifelike scenes of glamorous female peril.
Features
- Poses recreate gravity and realistic flexing of the body
- Poses are .pz2 files and so work in all versions of Daz Studio and Poser
- 10 poses work with limits on, 5 poses require limits to be turned off
- No unnatural bending, no floating body parts, no arms or legs cutting into the ground
- Special attention paid to hands and feet (usually ignored by pose producers)
- All poses designed around bare feet (minor tweaks needed for heels or boots)
As with the previous pose packs, the price is again $14.99. Remember this is not a mass-produced low quality pose set you buy from renderosity.com, where you just use just 1-2 out of 30 poses. I have spent many hours on making each pose and you will love all of them!

Q - Do the poses work with G2F or other female models?
A - No they do not, not without various levels of modification and tweaking. This is offered as a v4 only pack.
Q - What's in the bonus pack?
A - It features some of my characters in unfinished, never posted or work in progress projects. Images are not final quality but close enough. Some of the pics 'go a bit further' than the ones I normally upload in terms of content: hence why they were not uploaded.
Q - What will happen do to me if I post or share any of the pictures from the bonus pack? OR the Pose Pack itself?

A - I want to keep this as a deviantART exclusive for all of my watchers and fellow artists here that share my appreciation for the unconscious and limp female form. I want to see what you guys come up with.

A - NONE AT ALL. If you have paid for it then feel free to use for whatever you like, including your own commercial projects. Of course, I will appreciate greatly if you choose to credit me for the pose and link back.

A - YES, I am working on packs involving furniture and other additional figures.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactCreating pose packs is not an easy thing to do as one may initially believe. It requires fair knowledge of human anatomy combined with imagination and some insight on what has already been published. Moreover, each 3D figure bends in its own style and the artist has to master the technique before even trying to market his or her products.
Frankly, I think Torqual3D is on a very good way to become a posing artist.
Firstly, the concept of poses showing unconscious people is both risky and impressive, because few vendors decided to tackle such projects. Thus, a high originality and vision is achieved.
Secondly, the poses themselves. Most of them are very believable. If you are rendered unconscious, your muscles loosen and you fall to the ground like a bag of coal. This effect is particularly well-achieved in poses number 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 (counting from left to right from top to bottom). You can see the model's muscles are loosened and don't keep the body in its usual shape. They also follow the basics laws of dynamics, which is very important for poses.
I would remove the poses number 1 and 6 from this pack, because nice as they are, they feature a person who is asleep, not unconscious. In the state of unconsciouness, the muscles are rendered uncontrollable, whereas in sleep, your brain can command them. I would include them in a pack with sleeping poses, because - especially the first one - they are really well-done. When it comes to pose number 14 (and partially 15), I would move the legs apart, because she keeps them too close and too bent for a typical unconscious person.
What is a con of this pack is the price. While I really like the poses, paying almost $15 for a pose set of fifteen stances (each with a mirror, making it thirty in total) seems a bit too much. I would think of selling it for two-thirds this amount - or even make an option to buy just selected poses, so that artists on a budget or those who need just a few can pick their own. This would be a smart marketing move.
Lastly, I would appreciate knowing whether the poses are compatible with both DS and Poser or not. Overall, I can recommend this set for further work, ending with a release. I would also be willing to help with betatesting, because I think that the pack could be reworked for Genesis, widening the customer base.
